7/16/10 - RESULTS ALERT - Prometric & Sponsored Examinations

RESULTS ALERT:
Due to the heavy volume of exams received it will take longer than normal to receive your results so please be patient as we are working diligently to get them graded and posted as soon as possible. Once completed you will then receive an email notifying you that your results are available for viewing in your Portal account on the My Examination page so again DO NOT email Software Certifications regarding your results status.


10/13/2008 - Software Certifications adds Five New Certifications

  • Certified Associate in Software Quality (CASQ)
  • Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)
  • Certified Associate Business Analyst (CABA)
  • Certified Software Business Analyst (CSBA)
  • Certified Software Process Engineer (CSPE)
  • Certified Quantitative Software Process Engineer (CQSPE)

Applications are now being accepted for qualified candidates through the Customer Portal.


6/30/2008 - Recertification Now Available Online
Candidates can now maintain, edit, submit their recertification journal online through the Customer Portal. For more information Click Here

1/20/2008 - Software Certifications offers online customer service portal
Software Certifications announces its new Customer Service Portal. The new secure web pages allow customers to apply online, manage their professional certifications, enroll for examinations, and view examination results all online. This has greatly reduced customer service turn-around times.

The old paper-based application process has been eliminated and will no longer be accepted


1/20/2008 - Software Certifications partners with
In 2008, Software Certifications selected Prometric, a world leader in assessment testing services, as its partner for the administration of certification examinations. Prometric's international network of testing centers provides the framework needed to support Software Certifications global needs.

Instead of having only four dates a year to take examinations at a given location, candidates can easily schedule their test via the Internet and take it at a Prometric Testing Center in their hometown, in or outside of the United States. Prometric Testing Center exams is NOT an option for the following areas: India, China, Brazil, and Sri Lanka as those candidate will need to schedule their exam at a Sponsored Site location. All candidates must first apply online through the Customer Service Portal before continuing to schedule their exam through either a Prometric or Sponsored site. Scheduling instructions for each certification can be found on their individual information page. Seats for Prometric and Sponsored site exams are based on availability at each location.

Prometric's test center network affords site security and content integrity through a combination of live proctors, closed-circuit television systems and biometric security procedures.
